STUDENT EXPERIENCE EXCHANGE

This Thursday, January 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in room 207 of building A29, there will be a presentation of original web applications operating in a client-server architecture. During the event, third-year students of Computer Science and Econometrics at the Faculty of Science and Natural Sciences will present the technology used to create the applications, their integration with the database, and the backend and frontend of the applications. It will be an excellent opportunity to deepen your knowledge of possible solutions and, above all, to exchange experiences.

 

Project - "SmartSave" (Adetunji Daniel Adediran, Danylo Samedov, Volodymyr Artem-Ruzhevych)

"SmartSave" is a GDPR-compliant smart savings application designed for users in the EU (specifically Poland). It combines traditional savings with AI-powered financial insights via the 'SaveBuddy' assistant. The system focuses on transparency, collaboration, and security, allowing users to manage personal and group savings easily. The system integrates with external email providers and utilizes a modern tech stack to ensure scalability.

 

Project - "Beauty Salon"  (Maria Jurek)

Project "Salon Beauty" is a web-based application that allows appointment scheduling, organizes services and employees, manages product usage, and provides administrators with access to historical data and analytical tools. By automating the system aims to improve salon efficiency, reduce booking errors, and offer clients a convenient, user-friendly interface for managing their visits.

 

Project - "Event Booking System" (Tomasz Wis)

The "Event Booking System" is a comprehensive web application that allows users to view, book and pay for events, and administrative staff to have full control over event management, users and finances. The system implements an advanced role-based permission system with territorial restrictions.

 

Project - "CarRental" (Konrad Pajor, Jakub Służalec)

The "CarRental" system provides comprehensive streamlining of vehicle fleet management processes and optimisation of the car rental process for customers. The system enables comprehensive management of the entire rental process, from booking and reservation to vehicle collection and return.

 

Project - "Car Rental System" (Joseph Kayijuka)

Web-based platform "Car Rental System" is  focuses on three primary operational areas identity management, rental, administrative ogvernance. The system addresses the complete rental lifecycle from vehicle inventory management to customer bookings, payment processing, and vehicle maintenance tracking.
